Gratitude and Presence..
Two things that can be forgotten in our fast paced and ever-growing world. Recently it has come into my awareness of how important it is for me to practice gratitude and presence.
Not to just think of what I’m grateful for, but to actually become present and feel what I’m grateful for. There’s a big difference. It may come to a surprise to you, as it does to me, that if we try to feel gratitude it can be challenging when we begin to be able to fully feel it. But the more you practice it the easier and more fulfilling it becomes.
As for presence, we have so many distractions in our life, we are taken out of the present moment constantly. Allow your life to be a meditation of constantly coming back to the present moment. If you get taken away, that’s okay, just come back to the present whenever you are reminded to again.
I’m keeping it short and sweet today, I hope this reminder allows you to remember to feel grateful today and practice coming back to the present moment ♡
